Creative Talent Network Expo

Hello All!

Keeping in touch with your parents while at college can be a difficult thing for some people. I generally like to Skype with my parents once a week. During this week's Skype that I had with them my mom had told me about a expo that I should look into going to. After looking at the web page I think that this is going to be a great opportunity. The event is the Creative Talent Network Expo, and it is an event specifically for animators and artist in the animation field. When I first visited the site for this event the first thing I noticed was who CTN partners with. Major partners that I noticed were Sony Pictures Animation, Nickelodeon Animation Studio, Disney Animation Studios, and Wacom Technologies.  After seeing these major companies I'm set on going to this expo. As I researched further and found out that attendees of CTN are allowed to go to smaller events and get special opportunities like artist panels/ interviews, special exhibits and demonstrations, 2D and 3D demonstrations, speed talent recruiting mixers, privileged access networking, leaders in the industry discussions, and one on one critiques. Attendees get the opportunity to get their portfolio reviewed by current artists in the industry. Exhibitors at this convention range from storyboard artists, concept artist, animators, and designers. Whoever is going to CTN 2015 will definitely see me present, I really look forward to gaining multiple connections at this conference.

I highly recommend anyone who is interested in animation to take a look at what this conference is about!
