Even including E3, I think April Fools is perhaps the best holiday in the gaming world.  Every year they either announce something absurd or do something that while a joke, is a tremendous amount of fun.  Riot Games does an awesome job with April Fools every year, one of their first actually turning into a charity event. (RIP Urf)  Then this year they pulled out Ultra Rapid Fire Mode, which is just a great way to go online and blow off some steam.

Naturally they're not the only ones.  CDProjekt RED posted this awesome Mocap scene, from The Witcher 3.  Besides the end just turning out to be pretty funny, it's great insight into how these scenes are captured:
