It's hard to believe that I have completed an entire year at UAT. I have watched all the new students move in and explore the school. I remember how I was there not so long ago. My new roommate is a freshman, and it was great to be able to share my tips for surviving semester here and where the best spots are on and off campus. I love being able to help out the new students and help them with their anxiety about starting school and being so far away from home.
I was not able to be a connect leader this year, but seeing how much fun everyone is having is a great way to prepare for the up coming semester. The campus is full of life and excitement which is really fun to see and refreshes the older students to start all over again. Non-stop school can be a bit rough, but UAT helps keep the students excited.
Now that I am on the other side of Connect I really see how much it helps the incoming students and it's a great way to start off the new school year.
