GeekRHO is the Student Council at University of Advancing Technology (UAT), where we are a voice for the students! Hi, I'm Skylar, and I am the vice president for the council. Nov, 2nd. Day of the Dead: Make sugar skull decorations with us. 6pm-8pm, Art Room.
Nov, 4th. Fall Bingo: Play bingo with us. We will have prizes! 6pm-8pm, Small Commons.
Nov, 7th. Fall Coloring Night: Come out and enjoy destress Coloring! Coloring pencils, markers and coloring sheets will be provided. 6pm-8pm, Small Commons.
Nov, 9th. Origami Day: Learn how to make Origami, starting with some little desk pets to keep you company while you are studying. 6pm-8pm, Small Commons.
Nov, 10th. Fall Face Paint: Get a cute design painted on your face or hand for free! Enjoy Fall by celebrating with some face painting. 6pm-8pm, Small Commons.
Nov, 14th. National Pickle Day: Come out and get a fun sticker. if we see you in the hallways, look out for the pickle sticker! All-Day, Commons.
Nov, 17th. Fall Picnic: In the QUAD, we will be setting up areas during lunch time for you to go out and enjoy the nice, cool weather that fall has to offer in AZ! Grab your lunch from the café and come outside with your friends to enjoy the beautiful day, and listen to music! 12pm-1pm, QUAD.
Nov, 19th. Bob Ross Night: Partnering up with Art Club, we will be hosting a Paint-A-Long night with Bob Ross! (costumed, of course). Come over to be able to create a masterpiece with the guidance from Bob Ross! 7:30pm, Art Room.
Nov 20th. JackBox: Come play JackBox with your peers! We'll have games and, it'll be good to relax with a bit of mindless fun! 6pm-8pm, UAT Theater.
Nov 21st-23rd. Food Drive: GeekRHO is partnering with St. Mary's Food Bank to donate any non-perishable goods you have! If you're able to donate, please consider doing so. Even one can will make a difference. Located in the Commons Area for Donations.
Nov, 24th. Thanksgiving Turkeys: We will be making paper plate crafts to create turkeys for the holiday! If you're one of the students staying on campus for the holiday, don't worry, you won't be alone. Usually a lot of us don't go home for Thanksgiving, so to alleviate some of the loneliness, we are hosting an event so you can get out of your room and socialize! 6pm-8pm, Small Commons.
Nov, 25th. Destress: We will be providing ways to unwind after the holiday. We will have coloring pages, bubble wrap, stress toys, music and games for you all to come and enjoy! 6pm-8pm, Small Commons.
Nov, 28th. Mental Health Awareness: GeekRHO will be hosting a Mental Health Awareness Presentation during our regular meeting time. We will be discussing where to go if you are struggling, and the resources the university offers. 2:30pm-3:30pm, UAT Theater.
Nov, 30th. Collage Night: Come enjoy a night of making collages from magazines, newspaper and different items. If you are not familiar with making a collage, this could be a new hobby for you! Experience something fun and creative with the collage night! 6pm-8pm Art Room.
