Don’t you just love it when something looks pretty? When there is a cool image that just pops out and catches your eye? So do most gamers. In fact, with the latest advancements in the game industry, aesthetics have been a major focal point when attracting new audiences. No doubt that this strategy of showing off pretty aesthetics at conferences is an excellent form of promotion for the game, so long as they show those aesthetics in action. In this discussion, I’m going to go over what aesthetics offer the overall game and how important aesthetics are as a whole.
You may of gathered from the title.. it's Finals Week and I'm almost done.
This whole semester was one giant learning experience as I've had the chance to work on extraordinary projects. My favorite class so far has to be cinematography because I have been able to improve my camera skills. I discovered that I enjoy color grading and capturing sound effects. Below is a still image from one of my shorts from my final in cinematography. For this shot, I mainly focused mainly on smooth camera movement and wanted to make use of the overcast sky that was available to me. My goal was to be artistic and create a story with as few shots as possible. The fun part was editing the poem over it.
Whats up all my dudes and dudettes! Sonic Mania was released today I have to say I'm super excited for it!
I've been a Sonic fan for many years and in my opinion there hasn't been a good Sonic game released since Sonic 3 came out many years ago. I'll be playing the game over the weekend, so I'll most likely do a blog about it next week and give you my thoughts on the game.
In a few days, I’ll be graduating from the University of Advancing Technology. This is somewhere I’ve met lifelong friends from all over the nation. This is somewhere I’ve learned about my passion. This is somewhere I called home for the better part of two years. This is where it all started.
Being more of a trend in the current era of gaming, story has been a major focal point in the experience of numerous AAA titles. While as a designer I may not agree with less focus on the mechanics, I still appreciate the story a lot, especially when it compels different emotions in you. For this discussion, I going to talk about the pros and cons that story brings to a game. In addition, I’ll mention some of my favorite story-driven games that I’ve played growing up. So let’s open this story book, shall we?
As summer is wrapping up and we’re only two weeks away from the end of the semester, I feel like this is a good time to revisit my blogs and wrap them up or see what came of some of the topics I covered. I want to “close” the chapter of my current posts so I can start new next semester with some great ideas that I have regarding design and programming projects. It’s crazy to think I’ve already been an Ambassador for over a year and I only have one semester of college left.
What's up all my dudes and dudettes! So it's been a while since I've talked about my Nintendo Switch so I figured I update you on how I like the system and the different games I've been playing on the Switch.
Hello folks! Today I would like to talk about filmmaking, and working independently. When it comes to making a movie, I enjoy being on the production set the most. Sepcifically being behind the camera, whether this be Director of Photography or a camera operator, just being able to have the camera in my hands makes the day worthwhile.
Check out some of videos I filmed on my website. I plan on adding more films to my reel after I complete my cinematography final.
Below are some of the videos I shot.

This is the beginning of my blog series, titled 'Gaming Passion Series' or GPS for short. Hopefully, each one of these discussions will spark some interest, inspire ideas, or simply fight off your boredom. So, let's get this started.
