Last Friday I had an opportunity to go to the TechEDge event in Chandler. It was for small businesses, entrepreneurs and people who are in partnered with incubators. Students and those affiliated with incubators got to attend for free, I went as a student and as part of an incubator due to my affiliation with Radial Impact which is a gaming studio that’s starting up out of UAT and won free office space at the AZ TechCelerator in Surprise. Anyways the conference was great Tom Wujec from AutoDesk was the keynote speaker and he was a wonderful speaker, he talked about where technology is moving in the future and more specifically about 3D printing which is what I found fascinating. Anyways, I had to wake up early on a Friday to go, but I was so glad I did, it was definitely eye opening.
After the conference I ended up stopping by Gangplank which is just a cool space where you can come and work, they also have lots of events that go on there that hopefully I’ll find time to participate in!
