It’s reaching the end of the semester here at UAT, and things are getting pretty busy.
Luckily, I was able to have a bit of fun before working my butt off on projects. Some friends and I visited the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the museum was actually pretty cool. When you pay for your admission to the museum, they give you a little headset that allows you to stand nearby a television and hear it playing in your headset.
On the top floor, they had rooms of instruments separated first by continent, then by country. They included instruments, as well as clothing and decorations.
This picture was taken towards the end of our visit at the museum. I’m still not sure what these costumes are, but it anybody figures it out, let me know!
They also had a room where you could play some of the instruments. The coolest instrument to play with was the theremin. Until that point, I had never been lucky enough to play with a theremin, but it was pretty cool.
