Helping on set

Hello everyone, so this time around I decided to break about talking about myself and more about something useful to you guys. So here is a broad overview on being on set and the roles that are usually on there and a little thing called hierarchy. Hierarchy is the chain of command that is especially important during production days. The reason for the hiarchy is this way people dont run around confuse and dont bug important people that will then cause production to slow down. An example of that is a grip talking to the director this will cause the director not to focus on the shot and slow the whole production down. That is why its very important to follow the chain of command.

With that said here are some people that you will see on set usually, grips, key grip, gaffer,  director of cinematographer, camera op., assistant director, actors. There are certain ways on who talks to who which I will go into in my next blog.
