Hello everyone Jake here and today I have some exciting news , so as you guys know I my major is Game Art and animation but I decided to pursue an associates in Digital Video. One thing I never realized is how much time I spend just filming me and my friends doing dumb things. and most of the pretty much all of the time my phone is completely full of memory because how many pictures and videos I take. As of now I' m currently in DV101 and I'm having so much fun learning about camera settings, camera work ,and how to properly use a camera. I have also filled my time with participating on film shoots for other school projects , so far I have been on a total of 5 film shoots and every single one of them were great. The experience I'm gaining from these film shoots are exponentially increase my passion for Digital Video ,not to mention Paul DeNigris is an incredible instructor really enjoys what he teaches and speaking of Paul he has an upcoming short that he is directing and he wants my help on the shoot. I will have plenty of pictures from this shoot still and I'm still unaware of what I'll be doing for this shoot but never the less I'm just excited to get such a big chance on this.
Another great thing about Digital Video is the crew it always laughs and fun but when we need to be serious we can, but for most of the time its just been fantastic and all the senior Digital Video students have been very hopeful with teaching me tips and trick that I don't know yet , which is awesome and couldn't ask for a better group of peers! A the end of the day when it really comes down to it if its fun and your having fun thats what kind of job you want and creating , making and building is my favorite part of the day and just in general what I love doing most can't wait to see what the future holds.
